At My Chair: November 14, 2011

It was a busy week for items provided "at my chair" the Council meeting.   Nothing is more annoying than getting items at the table when we get to a Council meeting.  The reality is, it is a way to keep information from the public.  If the information is not in the packet, it is less likely to be seen.  I will keep working on it.  Information provided included:

A news release from the County regarding Charter Amendment Meetings; Playground and Community Center Holiday Hours (Thanksgiving -- Community Center Closed; Parks open 8 am to 5 pm but no restrooms available.  Christmas Eve -- Community Center and Playground Hours -- 8 am to 4 pm.  Christmas Day -- Community Center Closed; Parks open 8 am to 5 pm but no restroom available.  New Year's Eve -- Community Center and Playground Hours 8 am to 4 pm.  New Year's Day -- Community Center Closed.  Park and Playground 8 am to 5 pm but no restrooms available.); Notice for Christmas at the Gazebo on Saturday, December 3, 2011 -- parade 5:45 until 10 pm.  Info on snow on the circle on Saturday December 3 from 6 to 10 pm, must be a resident from 2 to 12 years old to attend, must register and pick up bracelet in advance at the community center between 11.16.11 and 12.1.11.  Gazette ad for Snow on the Circle.  Memo from Dan Espino regarding Community Summit Discussion (that took place on October 11, 2011).
